For Love of a Pet, Cape Cod Emergency Pet Network, is hosting an adult comedy night at The Ridge Club, 70 Country Club Road, Sandwich MA, on Saturday, April 17, to benefit their pet food pantry.

There will be raffles and silent auctions, and "Dr. Smithie" Director of Vet. Services for the Animal Rescue League, and contributor to NECN will be on hand to answer your pet questions, as well as the comedy show. New England comedian Bucky Lewis is scheduled to perform his one-man adult comedy show at 8 pm.

The Ridge Club is offering a Cape Cod Dinner Buffet including clam chowder, roast chicken, Haddock w/mussels, mixed green salad, vegetables, rolls and pastries for $25. Including tax and tip! Reservations must be made in advance.

"Adult comedy nights are increasing in popularity as the economy gets tight" Bucky Lewis states. "You can't find a more fun way to raise money for a good cause than a night filled with laughter. It becomes a special memory". Bucky Lewis presents high-spirited one-man show with a cast of many dysfunctional characters. "I call my show the 'Bucky Lewis Experience' because it incorporates the whole dynamic of a live one-person show: physical, stand-up, and character comedy, mixed with live music, songs, spontaneous and audience interactivity", Lewis says.

Tickets may be purchased until sold out, at Agway in Sandwich, or call Carol @ 508-472-9175. Tickets are $20.00 per person in advance, or $25. At the door (space permitting).

Donations of $200 will receive a book of 10 tickets and a reserved table. A dinner buffet is available from the Ridge Club with advance reservations.

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Dr. Smithie will be available for questions before the show, which starts at 8:00 PM.
